Friday, March 25th, 2011The University of Virginia Darden School of Business is partnered with the Emirates Institute for Banking and Financial Studies to deliver the program, Women Emerging in Leadership-Dubai May 8-12, 2011. Erika launched this Executive Education open-enrollment program in October 2010 and repeated it in March 2011.

Monday, November 22nd, 2010Sponsored by the Center for Positive Organizational Scholarship, the Positive Links series entitled “Leading Towards Opportunity in Times of Crisis” will feature Erika leading a series of assessments and exercises that help attendees get in touch with the emotions that drive our response to crisis, and then explore how to use those emotions in order to elicit the proverbial opportunities from crisis. She will conclude the day’s session by identifying specific opportunities that can be realized for organizations.

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010The AFP Annual Conference is taking place in San Antonio, Texas, at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, November 7-10, 2010. This is the largest event for treasury and finance in the world. Attendees find how best practices are changing, where to find and invest capital, what risk management looks like going forward and how new technology solutions can help you do more with less.
Utilizing the principles of crisis leadership found in her new book, Erika’s session will be part of the Women in Finance focus at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, November 9. She will integrate the topics of sustainable leadership for personal and organizational success, managing relationships at all levels, and rebuilding trust in the finance industry.

Wednesday, October 20th, 2010This year’s conference will focus on providing participants with tools to navigate the changing economic/business environment. The theme of the 2010 Brokering Change conference is: Re-set, Re-build, Re-define. Erika will speak on the principles of her new book on crisis leadership, subtitled From surviving to thriving before, during, and after a crisis. And she will specifically address the topic of rebuilding trust in the finance industry.
